The VISBY Gynaecology Examination Chair combines comfortable patient positioning with practical features and integrated storage. Its compact cabinet design keeps important equipment close at hand without requiring additional storage furniture.
The generous padded seat and backrest feature a smooth PVC cover that is easy to clean and suitable for regular use in healthcare environments. Rounded padded edges provide additional comfort for the patient. Depending on the version, the upholstery is available in blue or black.
For different examination positions, the VISBY features a pneumatically adjustable backrest. It can be adjusted with one hand using a control lever, from an upright sitting position to a deeply reclined position. The seat can support up to 227 kg, while the backrest has a maximum load capacity of 160 kg.
Adjustable footrests on both sides provide flexible leg positioning. They can be set to four positions and pushed in or folded away when not in use to save space and keep the examination area easily accessible.
A pull-out step makes it easier to access the approximately 77 cm high seat. Anti-slip strips on the step provide additional grip. After use, the step can be pushed back into the base to save space.
Two soft-close drawers with automatic closing are located beneath the examination area. The upper drawer contains an integrated metal collection tray, while the lower drawer provides additional storage for consumables and examination supplies. A closed cupboard compartment with shelf provides further storage space. The cupboard doors feature a soft-close mechanism for controlled and quiet closing.
A couch roll holder mounted beneath the backrest allows couch roll to be used directly on the chair. The low-level plinth and enclosed base complete the compact design. The VISBY Gynaecology Examination Chair is supplied fully assembled.
