The SKÖVDE Freestanding Examination Couch combines a spacious examination surface with extensive integrated storage. Measuring 198 x 76 cm, it provides ample space for examinations and treatments. The 5 cm thick firm foam padding provides stable, comfortable patient positioning, while the smooth black PVC cover is easy to clean and suitable for regular use in healthcare environments.
The two-part lying surface consists of a 120 x 76 cm lower section and a separately adjustable 77 x 76 cm backrest. The backrest can be adjusted to six positions, allowing patients to be positioned flat or with the upper body raised. The lying surface can support up to 227 kg, while the backrest has a maximum load capacity of 160 kg.
The integrated storage system beneath the lying surface includes six drawers, four open compartments and a continuous enclosed cupboard area. The storage can be accessed from both sides of the couch, making examination equipment, consumables and other practice supplies easy to reach. The drawers and cupboard doors feature damped closing mechanisms for controlled and quiet closing.
The grey laminate finish features impact-resistant PVC edges. A low-level plinth made from black laminated plywood provides a stable base and creates an enclosed area beneath the couch.
Couch roll holders are fitted at both the head and foot ends for convenient use of couch roll. The SKÖVDE is supplied largely pre-assembled; only the door and drawer handles need to be fitted before use.
